Taming of the Toddler
There will come a time, no matter how wonderful you think your child is, where they will throw a temper tantrum. I can’t promise that it will always happen at home. There will be episodes that occur at the grocery store, company picnic, church etc…This could be quite embarrassing as a parent. This behavior usually occurs around 2-3 years of age. That is when the child is striving for independence. Do not take it personal or as a reflection of who you are as a parent, but understand that there are reasons for this behavior.
