Even after your child has been successfully potty trained, it is normal for them to experience potty accidents. Many different factors can play a role in a potty-trained child wetting the bed or not making it to the bathroom in time. Sometimes it is a pure accident because they were so into what they were doing they just didn’t realize they had to go.
